General: The following terms and conditions apply to all orders which are processed by Matthews Ltd either online or by any other form of communication and form part of the contract between us. Please read them carefully, Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Making a purchase: Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to view. To buy the item click on the "BUY NOW" button and put it into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "GOTO CHECKOUT" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to process the order. We will then contact you to arrange collection or delivery of your product, this is when payment will be taken. We accept all major credit cards (except American Express), cheque or bank transfer. Prices: Prices quoted are subject to stock availability. All prices include VAT @ the current VAT rate. Delivery: We offer Free delivery & installation on all Television, Home Cinema Systems & DVD recorders within 40 miles of our showroom, the other products on offer are available on a collection service only. Our aim is to supply all goods ordered within 5 working days. If the product that you have selected is not available at the time of placing your order, and it is necessary for us to order directly from the Manufacturer, you will be contacted within 48 hrs. We will keep you updated with the progress of your order. Out of stock: If your item is not in stock, we will order it for you. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Guarantee: All products come with at least one full years manufacturers warranty. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Should you experience any problems with your product please contact us first. Recycling of electrical and electronic equipment The UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations require that all retailers of electrical goods assist in delivering a UK wide WEEE collection system and encourage consumers in the participation of recycling electronic equipment. There are several different ways this can be done You may take the item to your local council site or you can contact your local council offices to arrange for a home collection of WEEE, there may be a small charge for home collections alternatively you can bring the item in to one of our stores. Electronic waste is one of the fastest growing waste streams and much of it can be recycled and resources recovered to make new consumer goods. All electrical items sold now carry the 'crossed out wheeled bin' symbol. Do not place unwanted electrical goods into the normal domestic waste stream. Please contact us if you are unsure of what to do with unwanted electrical goods. Products: Product images, descriptions and specifications are shown for guidance only; for example cabinet/case colours may vary. Payment: All Payments will only be taken by us once we have made contact with the customer to confirm order and delivery. Sales & Service Working Hours: Our normal office hours are 9:00am - 17:30pm Monday to Saturday. Complaints: Any complaints regarding the goods or services supplied should be made to the above address. All complaints will be responded to within 24hrs (during the working week). Your Right to Cancel: Under the Distance Selling Regulations you can request a full refund including delivery charges provided all goods are returned with all accessories including any free gifts. Your refund will be processed within 30 days of giving us your notice to cancel. Should you wish to cancel your order, any goods supplied must be returned to the above address, at your own expense within 7 days of your notice to cancel. We are unable to accept back goods for a credit if they are unwanted gifts or non-faulty items if we have not recieved notification within 8 days of the delivery date. We are unable to accept back for refund the following product types unless they are faulty or were supplied as part of the main product purchase; Unsealed blank video tapes, blank DVD discs and blank mini discs.
